Wood-Boiled Eggs

I boiled these eggs last night on my rocket stove. It was entertaining and not too much more hassle than cooking them inside. I used some mesquite branch trimmings for fuel. It didn’t take very much wood at all.

They’re not that great, a little overdone, but not too bad considering they were cooked over a wood fire.
This first one was easy to peel.
I used about half of this wood and that was more than I needed.
That’s what I cooked them on. My Entertainment Furnace Brand rocket stove.
What’s the advantage to doing it this way? There isn’t one. It’s just entertaining. That’s why it’s called an Entertainment Furnace Brand rocket stove.
