I have heard it said that people may need to steel themselves for this ball action.
What's with the metric system anyway? It's been around a long time, right?
All the parts, front.
All the parts, back.
I worked out the length of the nylon spacers (green) so that I could accomodate some minimal-compression closed-cell foam (red) which allowed me to take up the space of the machine screw heads (blue). I know, with better holes and screws I could have got them flush. I figured I wanted some foam behind the tablet anyway.
It was a satisfying amount of compression onto the foam. I'm glad to have foam back there.
Back, finished assembly.
All the buttons are easily accessible.
Even these front buttons, which I forgot to use.
That's a weird reflection (red arrow).
That's everything all mounted up, including the power cable connected to the bike's 12-volt port.
It's a heavy bike, you can see I'm easily moving it around with the mount.
