Duke likes this art to represent his imagination that he is together with so many friends in Arthur’s world that he is completely surrounded by them. He also likes his rope and his apple and his pants with the crossed hammers on them. Duke used his imagination to build this collage of art and he imagined the cat would have a mouth like his, but of course a cat has only one mouth part. Duke has a mouth and a scolex. Two face parts, two mouths. Duke has his old scolex on the floor. It was too shiny. It’s fine. It’s not that shiny from different angles but from some angles it’s too shiny. There’s no sense throwing it out though. There’s no sense throwing anything out because after the end, garbage is all there is. It’s not even garbage anymore. When everything is the same something, you stop making the distinction. Before the end there was too much garbage. It didn’t cause the end. Too much garbage is more of an aesthetic problem and can be reframed like all questions of aesthetics.

What appears to hold Duke’s face parts on?

Dukes two face parts are held on by staples.

Arthur sewed Dukes three face parts on with thread.

The two face parts on Duke’s head are held on with pins.
