ChillyMost provides this installation of André at the Wiener Rathaus or Vienna City Hall. The Wiener Rathaus was built between 1872 and 1883 in a neo-Gothic style designed by architect Friedrich von Schmidt.
Chilly Most has André sitting here in full view of the Rathaus. I like saying “rathaus” so it’s perfect. I’d also like to catch some films at the film festival in the square near the Rathaus.
The André the Giant sticker designed by Shepard Fairey in 1989 is what inspired me to get into making stickers so I always try to keep a stack of these reproductions in stock for my private use (and to give free to friends) as a permanent homage.
I’m glad ChillyMost kept it going with this installation in Vienna, Austria.
