In honor of Dakar starting today I got the Honda Africa Twin CRF1000 out in the desert for several hours of fun.

I was out for a while but I didn’t go very far, just North and West of the Santa Rita Mountains near Tucson, Arizona.

I think the Africa Twin would have been better named Arizona Twin since it’s well-suited to Arizona and they only allow up to 450 cc bikes in Dakar these days. And it’s not in Africa anyway.
But I get it. Heritage and whatnot. Still though. Maybe I’ll get my own wrap that says Arizona Twin. Probably not. Any time I have for doing something goofy like that on a bike, I’d just rather be riding the bike.

This is an orchard. It looks like the Dementors®️ are about to arrive or something. It didn’t really look like that though so it wasn’t as creepy as all that. I edited it that way. I guess that says more about me than the creepy orchard.
