Puppet One

I’m making some progress on my puppet theater. I’m not fully moved into the space yet but I wanted to do some test shots with Puppet One.

Puppet One will look more real once I pin its face on. But for now I was just getting a feel for how it might work and what the texture of its skin looks like.

Those wood burnings were a gift I got from my niece. She and her husband made them for me.

My friend told me the seam on the face looks like a nose. I might run with that.

I like the way Puppet One’s skin texture interacts with the light.

I think the theater is coming together nicely. I was told that it looks creepy. I think that’s only because Puppet One has no face pinned on yet. Once it has a face I think it will look more like a friendly puppet theater.
