Duke thought he caught Arthur peeking at him through one of the six light holes in the ceiling of the puppet theater. Duke can’t see Arthur though, so maybe Duke caught Arthur peeking and maybe not. It is impossible for Duke to say one way or the other. Duke likes that goat burned onto a piece of wood. Duke believes that having pictures of friends is basically almost the same thing as actually having friends. He pretends it’s the same, but also he doesn’t know one way or the other so much because he’s never had a friend yet so he has nothing to compare to. So far Duke has four friends burned on wood. You can see three of them here if you look closely at the photo. Duke believes that Arthur provided him with the four animals burned onto wood so that Duke could have friends in the theater. The goat is named Eddie and he’s fit from all the climbing.
